lol! This country takes things way too seriously when a bunch of friends can't have a conversation veer into that area of talking. I mean, it happens to the best of people. Besides, we were talking about attacking the white house with a sword, the rest of this sprang from that. Hell, I never was talking about assassinating anybody, I was just talking about being smart to avoid known obsticles. They do it in every spy movie and theif movie. Just so happens that these obsticles are manned 50 cal. guns. Coup de Grais is a known and used term, it's to kill and knocked down, injured, subdued, or sleeping 'foe.' If people can get in trouble for saying stuff like this on a forum board in CSS, WTF? We play CSS, we shoot eachother and others EVERY DAY! It's all a freaking game! Besides, FREEDOM OF SPEECH. sheesh. 'Security' and 'terrorism' is too widely thrown around these days. What happened to being able to sit down and laugh and joke with people and not worrying about who's listening or watching, because you're just talking. Not like we got schematics or anything, or are making any plans... it just so happens that this all revolved around the president, we just as easily could've said 'Colonial Mustard' or 'Osama Bin Laden'! sheesh... I hate thinking I could get in trouble for having a conversation like any other BS that comes out of my mouth.

Chu... Your with us or against us, you freedom hating terrorist.
Yes, its sad that if you say Kill President in the same sentence on a monitored board they can take your phone records, your internet records, every search youve ever made, every job youve ever applied to, and then use it to their gain.
But, have hope. They got this much power because of war, and they may yet lose it all because of this war. I truely hope that some day America will be the free country it once was, where people get held to the law. If the president can break the law, Cant I?

Be carfull people the term for what is going on here is sedition. During the Civil War people were SHOT for saying such things.
It is still a crime for a member of the armed forces to speak out against the Commander and Chief.
If this war heats up for any reason any and all of you may be putting your future liberty at risk, and possibly your lives as well.
Learn when to keep quiet and survive.

Actually Gramps, we dont have much liberty left to take. They already can take our phone records, tap our phones, internet, put surviellence on us... It doesnt matter what we say, they answer to no one, they dont need a rational reason for taking our liberty. If their going to take it, might as well use it all before its gone.

I remember when 'Freedom of Speech' meant something... When you could say anything as long as it didn't cause hystaria... Sheesh, I'm only 22 and I remember those days when they taught that in school. Feels like things are becoming more of a dictatorship as of late. People are becoming afraid to say things like 'the president sucks' and such or worse, why? because people will tap your phones, watch your internet traffic, and take actions against you as if you were a terrorist. Teach you to envoke that right and say what you think of someone. There is a difference between speaking your mind and plotting. I think it'd be funny if they arrested me for terrorist acts from what I say on the forums here. It'd be an interesting time, I can tell you that much.

Actualy since world war two it has been illegal to do anything that would be construded as trying to overthrow our government. Insurection or trying to cause insurection is and has been a crime since then. www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/t-158275.htmlSo all of you insurrectionists beware - you are already over the line. Out of curiousity, was this Before or After we put 110,000 Japenese-American Citizens into concentration camps? Gramps, the law is. Its not against the law to overthrow or talk about it, but to talk or TEACH about VIOLENTLY harming the government people. Dont bomb it, just overthrow it gently. I wish no harm to those in power, I just wish them to be out of power, and that is in violation of no law. Its simply a 1st amendment right.

If the people will grow up and see that their life is more than just going to work 9 to 5 every day for the rest of their lives, if they'll stop believing that they are the only person in the world, and nothing should come before they do, then I won't need violence.

going to work 9-5 each day made this one of the most economiclly prosperous countries in the world.
Americas work ethic is good compared to other countries (Excluding sweat shops). In europe, they dont work like we do. They get 5 weeks in entry level of vacation standard. Im not asking for the people to create a communist socialist society in which we all love eachother, but getting pissed when the President leaves citizens to die on rooftops, or break the law intentionally, or commits perjury... Whats he got to do, Stab kittens while kicking retarded kids and shouting racial slurs?

economically prosperous maybe, but at what cost? People have lost their identity, their image. We all strive to be someone else instead of defining ourselves. Long dead are the days, where we actually fought about things. When revolution wasn't just a freedom, but a necessity. This whole country was founded because of a revolution that took place because the people saw a problem, knew how to correct it, and desided that those that had the power had the responsibility as well, to do anything and everything that needed to be done in order so that they could better their fellow people.
Nowadays, most just either don't know, don't care, or otherwise don't want to do anything about the problem with today. Saddest thing is, Bush'll prolly be the best president we have for a while.

Its harder to Revolt when they know what you are talking about, saying, and can excersice all authority with no proof to stop you.
