Okay, i have a lot of the character sheets worked out, but I need to talk to each of you (when i'm at my computer) to get exact info. Age, Hair Color, stats, etc. We'll work on that when we can. So I'll try to IM most of you when I get a chance and see you online. We'll work something out then.

is this more of an open rpg (and i don't mean the program called Open RPG) and less of a based on the ruleset 3.5/3.0/2.0/1.0 dnd type rpg? i've been playing 3.5 for 2 years in 3 different campaigns now and i really enjoy it. but i just think there'd be too many limitations online unless we found a way to use voice chat and have rules about what can happen and who can speak when. i used to go to a furry rpg chat room and we'd have open rpg there and it was a lot of fun - no rules, we just chatted. and that's not bad. i can even write the chat room for us if you want to go that route (you can check out the one i made for furries now at http://fic.furryisland.com). we didn't do a lot of spell type things back then and after playing dnd for a while, i could see where if we have no rules, that spellcasters could make their own spells and it would pretty much pwn anything you throw at us and the melee characters wouldn't get much action. i dunno. i think i just like rulesets =P

I'm going to loosely base it off from 3rd edition D&D. I want to do it over IM, mic's if possible. I think Jill has a Mac so we can't use X-Fire, which would be optimal. But I want to open a gropu chat with everyone in it, then have an individual window open with each party member so I can tell them what their character may find out that nobody else notices. This will also make for things like Jill's crystal that talks to her easier to do, as, well, nobody else can hear it. Or Drizzt God talking to him. Make them respond to me in group chat, but talk to them on an individual level. Spells are going to be somewhat loose, as I don't do components, but I'm going to limit people in what they can do. I'm going to try and keep things equal and such, but I'm going to give as much leeway as possible. Let people use their powers in creative, but non-over powering ways. I don't want any one character to be dominant. I'm going to see if I can get people to tell me what they want to do, and I'll tell them if they can or not, or let them try and roll to see if they complete it successfully or not. I've got a program that does dice rolling so I'm going to use that. or real dice, haven't decided.
