I am a very odd person. I can shoot a dime at 500 yards, swordfight with the best, and go into jiu jitsu tournments (trained by Jorge Gracie), but I don't ever really want to hurt anyone. I could never bring myself to kill someone, unless it was to save another.....
What is love?
The common response is "being willing to give your life for someone", which most people think means to die for someone. But in truth, I would die for anyone. Enemy, friend, evil, or good I just know deep down that I would die for anyone who needed me to (propably why the doctors think I am insane). But I think that "being willing to give your life for someone" means so much more. To give every second of your life to make someone happy is a way of giving your life for someone, but the ultimate sign of love is more then that. "Being willing to give up a life for someone" would be a better way of describing it.
I want her to have the world, and he is capible of giving it to her. He makes her happier then she has ever been, and he is going to college for an engineering degree while I am going to be a historian. He will go places, and take her with him. To give her the world, I had to stay behind. Its the hardest thing I have ever done, but knowing that everyday she will have everything her heart desires and be happy with him was worth it. The ultimate sign of loving someone, is giving up a dream that was within reach, to help someone reach theirs.

hehe, wow clock, what is love eh? ok, well i have my own ways of figuring out if i love someone, or if anyone loves anyone else
1. if you think of that person more than you think of yourself 2. you are happy to be around them, no matter what, doesnt matter if your having fun or not, just being there with them makes you happy
ummm, thats all i can think of right now, theres more, im just forgetful...lol

Love is just a feeling your body has to encourage you to reproduce. Its all instincts and biological and stuffzors.

all you need is love by the beatles? good stuff. and for the the record. you will never define love. ever. but i do recommend an essay by Jerome A. Miller a philosophy professor at Salisbury University at Salisbury Maryland, it is called "the Radiance of the World" very good stuff. and to quote it, "Love, it seems, is elation and vertigo all at once: it is not "heart-throbbing," as our sentimental images of it suggest, but gut-wrenching. Having fallen in love, our hearts are, at one and the same time, in our mouths and in the pit of our stomachs. Turned head over heels and inside out, one realizes that something traumatic and irrevocable is happening to the very core of one's self."
hell. yeah.

Love is that pain in the ass thing that makes you do stupid things for women without expecting anything in return.

Love is a noun and a verb. And with some endings it can be an adjective such as "lovely" or an adverb "lovingly".
