So now my ex who used to be friends with me hates me.
The way I look at it?
Don't have to waste money on getting her a birthday gift, and I don't have to listen to anymore petty drama about her life.
EDIT: sorry about double post, didn't realize i was the last person to post.

Why would you listen to the petty drama? I mean, if you dont like the person you shouldnt have to listen to the petty drama. If you like/are going out with someone, you have to listen to the petty drama and take their crap, because you know you have more they take, but if your not.... Friends dont listen to Other Friends petty dramas, they tell em to shut it and get over it.

What, you want your friends to listen to Petty Dramas? Im not talking about real life issues, and you said "petty". I wouldnt want my friends to sit their quitely while I rambled about unimportant issues. Id want them to tell me that it wasnt important. And if they did, I would trust them. ^_^ but I think the key is to surrond yourself with people who dont care about petty dramas enough to talk about them very often. Thanks for the compliment. (Seriously if you cant deal with the day-to-day "petty" issues, you sure as hell cant handle actual responsiblity or big issues that I would want a friend to be able to handle.)

A good friend will listen no matter what one has to say. A bad friend will ignore you because they don't care, or think it's petty. A best friend will listen to the petty drama, conceptualize it, and actually talk about it with their friend, no matter how stupid they think it is, or how little they really care.
From what you've said Nose, you're not the greatest of friends. A good friend cares about what goes on in the lives of thier friends, no matter how small or trivial it may be. Sometimes, you just need to vent. A good friend will let you vent, and make you feel better. A best friend will help you plot revenge.

When you are sad, I will help you plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.
When you are blue, I'll try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
When you smile, I'll know you finally got laid.
When you are scared, I will rag you about it every chance I get.
When you are worried, I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and to quit whining.
When you are confused, I will use little words to explain it to your dumb ass.
When you are sick, Stay away from me until you're well again. I don't want whatever you have.
When you fall, I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.
This is my oath, I pledge 'til the end. Why you may ask? Because you're my friend!
PS - A friend will help you move. A really good friend will help you move a body.
PPS - A good friend will bail you out of jail. A BEST friend (like me) will be sitting there beside you saying, "Boy, we really screwed up this time!

I guess we have varying definitions of good friends. Usually you dont have the problem, because your friends dont, in fact, care about Petty Dramas either. Ive never had a friend who truely cared about a petty drama. And if they truely care about the issue, its not petty. A petty issue would be you stained your shirt. I dont want to listen for 30 minutes on how you stained your shirt. Good thing none of my friends actually care if they stain their shirt. see? >.<. I dont surrond myself with people who care about petty dramas, because they tend to be shallow. I never ignore my friends, and so far Ive never had to tell them to shutup, its petty. I have been told that, and those are the people who I know I can count on to tell me the truth no matter the situation. If I wanted to be lied to and indulged, Id complain to my parents. the key word is "petty". If they have issues, im open to talk for hours about it. Their families having trouble, they have relationship problems, if its important to them and a valid point, im all ears and all support. You truely want your friends to listen to you for hours on end about unimportant things? You usually dont talk to your friends about unimportant things, eh? If you do, you dont spend all day on them, unless you care about the petty dramas of Highschool... Which leads me back to my original point. None of my friends care about Petty Dramas. I dont have to listen to them. Ive known these guys and girls for 9 years, theres really nothing we cant share, and we beat and rag on eachother, but we dont indulge eachother.

Go for the eyes with a ball-point pen! Act crazy enough and you dont have to worry about getting a restraining order on her. She'll get one for you! Just makes everything so much easy.

Not to mention a quick case of Aggrivated Assault, and Attempted Murder... On the upside, you'd go to prision and wouldn't run into her much.. unless she visited you in jail. Then that'd suck.. At least you could get up and walk away. and she couldn't follow...
