Thats almost definately a toss up.
warranty wise the nvidia card has more (three years!) and it has dual processors on the card, slightly better resolution, but less mega pixels than the ATI card.
I guess I'm leaning towards the Nvidia 7600.

there's a big preference issue here. some people prefer nvidia, some ati. i prefer nvidia because i believe their drivers are better. unfortunately, agp is quickly going the way of betamax... it won't be around much longer so they aren't making the best cards for agp anymore =( and.. i know it costs a little more, but this card www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143046 is probably the card i would get. unfortunately it has it's ups and downs vs the other two you picked out. it has same proc speed, faster ram (also ddr3 vs ddr2), and 16 pixel pipelines (vs 12). i know it doesn't sound like much more, but i believe the extra pixel pipelines make a big, big difference. i'd also suggest newegg.com... a bit cheaper than best buy and i've had 0 problems with them. they ship pretty quickly. but if you want it right away, then bestbuy is ok =)

I actually upgraded slightly to the 7300 a while back.... the 6600 wasn't cutting it anymore.

Whatever card you get make certain that you upgrade your fan system.
Looks at all the video "card toast" that has been posted. Toast by inadequate ventilation is not what you want for a meal fit for a computer champion.

I know a buddy that's got a 7800GS AGP. He loves it and says that it can run Oblivion pretty smoothly (he doesn't have the best computer either, but you should be able to get some pretty nice FPS in CS outta that). I'm using a 7600GT PCI-E16 or however you put that. And the reason why I like Nvidia better is because I owned 2 ATI cards before I changed to Nvidia. Both died within about 2 days of me buying them. I've owned 4 Nvidia cards since then, and to my knowledge, all of them are still working.
And Nvidia cards come with a little overclocking program too =D

anyone know a good graphic card that is between 100 to 200 dollars that will play css dods doom3 and other graphic games that is pci I'd reccomend a 6800 or a 7300 (new egg's prices on the 6800 are right in your range) the 7300's are actually cheaper than the 6800's.... www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130270
