windows won't boot or even start for me on my desktop machine.
Last night I came home and had the problem of windows not wanting to anything past the "start windows in safe mode" screen (loaded up a bunch of drivers and that was it.
This morning I started it up and it tells me that the chassis fan speed is low. ok. I can handle that, I know the bearings are going in it anyway from the horrid noise it was making. Guess I have to buy a new one a little sooner than expected
go through safe set up proceedures, and it stalls again.
only this time... I can't get shit off of it. I got a flicker of the fans starting, but nothing else. No warnings, so as of this minute I'm hoping that mine is easily fixable.... GAHHH! I'm ready to kill someone. B8's problems are contagious.
I have to have this fixed BY TONIGHT b/c of the scrim with flight.

Don't say I didn't warn you about the contagion.

B8: "BLAME B8"
so... I blame you.
thankfully though, the computer is on with new chassis fan, and well... windows is in safe mode, but operational ATM, pulling the rest of the files off of the drive for back up.
I didn't fry anything. I did however buy fans at Fry's. One of them is the wrong size, the other is fine.
*happy girl*
Now I just have to make sure I can boot windows properly after this whole fiasco to avoid the re-dl'ing of steam and steam related products.
Same error message came up when I booted it, but it can't check the fan speed anymore b/c its powered straight from the power supply
yay?
