so far (i'm about halfway thru GDI, and played a couple skirmishes) its really fun. actually a bit challanging... something that generals and red alert 2 didn't really accomplish.
haven't played online yet, though i really should if i want any hope of actually being good.
the acting is worse than ever though... Kane is still good but... the GDI general is the guy that ran the Roughnecks in starship troopers, and the info person is the female doctor from House...

That's one thing I really actually liked when I heard about it- the fact that they used cult movie/sci-fi stars from the B and C list just kicks ass. I find it both hilarious and awesome at the same time. If EA was able to add ANYTHING to the C&C series, it was money.

i'm not huge on RTS's either, starcraft and red alert were the only ones i ever liked....but c & c 3 is pretty sweet, i picked it up too...probably one of the best campaigns i've played....which is something that i dont normally find good on rts's
