this is by far the worst update ever. what's the point? why do they even make mods for this game... how about we just go back to rcon, cuz apparently that's what valve wants us to do. i am steamed at valve. f you guys. =P

i'm just venting my anger. this is probably the worst i've felt about css updates... this didn't even "fix" anything.

I agree, this is just annoying as all crap... It's like Steam doesn't want us to play any of their games anymore. They need to stop changing stuff so drastically... or at least let us know what's in the update as we're downloading it or something.

All that does not matter as Steam updates the servers automagicaly. So if the server gets updated it gets broke anyway. Even if they told us what they were screwing with it would not matter because you have to update to play on the server because they updated the server. This is one vicious circle of steam.

you can click a box that says 'details' or something when you are DL'ing the update, it will tell you what they changed. Although, that doesn't help too terribly much, as they are trying to eat our souls....

The following is a hypothetical discussion of the principles of physics when applied to the real world - as it applies to all engineers:

Grabs the string and wraps it around agentx"s throat. So air resistance is unimpotant? Tightens string until you hear a whislting sound instead of normal breathing sounds. So is air riesitance still unimportant to you? Tightens the string a little more and agentx starts turning blue.

Dips the string into cyano acrylate and dries string in a straight line. Places string into special crossbow and fires string through agentx's little finger. There a string under special circumstances can undergo tension.

Magic is taught to children, all others must learn that there is no such thing from those children. They will steal you blind and leave you wondering what and how they did it.

time to back up agentx....

1) Agentx wasn't being choked to death as you so claim. Agentx was simply playing along with your joke. Good acting that one.

2) You dipped the string into cyano acrylate, therefore changed the chemical properties of the string, by stimulating a chemical reaction that under normal circumstances never would have taken place. Thusly, you have run an illegal experiment and your data is not valid. Agentx expressed 'string' not 'genetically modified string' therefore, you are not duplicating his theories as a scientist, but are instead trying to falsely assert your hypothesis upon his and discredit a good scientist. Thus, slander. Considering that slander is a very heavy offense and that you are trying to discredit his credibility, I feel at this juncture that it is best for Agentx to call a lawyer and sue you for slanderous remarks in an attempt to ruin his scientific life by false allegations and modified data by conducting experiments outside the scope of his hypothesis. In light of this new lawsuit you are hereby subpoened to cease all further communication with everyone in reguards to this matter. Any futher remarks, quotes, theories, and or other forms of communication on this subject could be considered breach of a court order and place you in contempt, therefore resulting in your immedate arrest and incarceration. Breaching this subpoena will also result in revoking your scientific liscense and therefore deem once and for all that you are not a credible individual and that everything you say from that moment forth shall be considered heresay, and dismissed.

What on Earth would make you think that any one sane or insane would allow any other person to put a string around their neck and choke them?
The assertion was that air resistance can be ignored. The correct statement is "Under most circumstances air resistance can be ignored." If you take that to the limit you get incorrect results. Just try getting an artillery shell to hit in the spot that you want without taking air resistance into account and you will miss in all but direct fire conditions. The point is get the statements out correctly and properly the first time and you will not have idiots like me coming back to point out your lapses in completeness.

OK so I was over the line in the string bit. But it was a creative engineering thing that pushed me to come up with the CA bit. However it you take a very short piece of string and propel it fast enough, say at hyper velocity it will go right trough you and then it is under compression as it passes through you. You have been strung up and shot to death by an ity bity piece of string.

As some ones shirt said "Don't play stupid with me I am better at than you are."
