Right now I'm looking at vent/teamspeak servers. If we host them through clan servers, its 50% off of the normal rate ($10/month for a 20 player teamspeak/vent server) www.clanservers.com/other/voice_server.phpI want to know the interest before I do this. At this point, I can easily front the first 6 months. I haven't donated in a while. |

it cant hurt, also invite regs to chat with us would be interesting. we can put up the adress on the MOTD.
either really work, im not too sure whats the diffrence between them though.

'Nuff said.
After using both of these, I've found that Ventrilo sounds WAY better than TS. So much that if we were to get a TS server, I probably wouldn't join.

Why don't we just let every AC member get Xfire? It's got a free voice chat that actually works well. we can create a perminant room (right now it's AC-Kin) that will tell you how many people are on. You can use IM or your mic. good quality, works well from what I can tell. Plus, it's free!!!

Also, I created a perminant AC spot on Xfire. AC-Kin. If you add it to your Xfire then you can always see who is on and join whenever. Right now, Kami, Jonus and I are on it. Works quite well. You can type or use voice chat. you can even set your mic to use a voice recognition to activate your mic.

Unless the TS server is free just host it yourself all you need is a static ip and a old box.
