everytime i come here the general and css/steam threads always mark that there is a new post. but there never really is. ne1 else noticing this?

strange, I usually click it, see there are no new posts, go back and refresh and it won't do that to me again, though lately the forums haven been caching pages-- so after I edit a post, I can't and don't see the revisions... meaning I lost kotets' steam id... and I don't think I have the right one down there, its short one character I believe.

That type of thing generally happens if you don't follow forum links to move around. I.E. using the back button or something. Also, if you just close the browser without backing up to the main forum topic, or something of the like. Usually, if you don't back up all the way to the start of the folder, I.E. the 'General' page, you run the risk of having that happen. It's just that the forum doesn't remember unless you go back to the begining sometimes... I don't know why it works that way, just something I've noticed from forum to forum...

no thats not the problem, i know of that though. i'm talking about coming right in fresh and seeing NEW threads but when I click on the area to see what it is, there isnt any. doesnt happen so much though anymore.
