Raccoon is getting out of control. He banned me for 10 minutes twice, for saying "stfu we're not winning" (I was wrong, a friend later informed me). However, while this may have been legitimate, he banned me once again when I rejoined the server. Also, he's been gagging me and muting both me and [wHc]The Power of <3 sparsely for little to no reason. Recently, I've said only two things that may have deserved any sort of punishment, which are "oh man you're such a gay faggot (or something to that extent)" and when I said "stfu" to raccoon, which was also not with malice intent. When I said the gay thing, I didn't know the person in the server other than me and <3 was an admin (it was raccoon, there were only 3 of us in the server) and it was clearly in a joking context. After that, I said "ass", not "asshole", which got me kicked. When I rejoined, I didn't complain at all... I made a joke to my friend who was also in the server and told him to stop "bitching", and I was kicked and banned for 2 minutes. Things like this have been happening repeatedly over the last few days. This is abuse, it needs to stop.

I said something similar to your gay comment (in joking context), insta week long ban, so you got lucky. Gay bashing IS NOT ALLOWED on the server, even in joking context cause some people might take it seriously. Watch your tongue with the use of words such as "gay" or "fag", or you might get a nice week long ban like I did.

Zombie (This is Zombie, right? Siv, w/e, you have too many names!), you cant say Gay Faggot on the server, period. Ever. The fact that an admin wasnt on isnt an excuse, it just means you only play nice when admins arent on. Joke nicer.

If an admin thought you were talking to him when you said quit bitching, then that may have set him off, or if the admin didnt know you knew the guy. Keep in mind, we cant read minds, for all we know this is a 9 year old boy sitting in Topeka with his mothers laptop. Its a family server, so if we dont know your friends we sometimes overreact to protect the Young'uns.

If your still banned now (?) then you can ask Amy, she will unban you. Let us know if it happens again.

Right, I understand that... and this is Siv, not Zombie.. Zombie is my friend (now The Power of <3). I mean, what it amounts to is Raccoon being a dick to both of us for no reason. The only reason I even mentioned what I actually said to Rac a few days ago was to slightly validate what he's doing. I would have accepted being kicked or whatever from the server but the fact of the matter is I thought I was talking to a friend of mine and some stranger who most likely wouldn't care if there was a joke made which was at the expense of retarded America more so than at that of gays.

However, I just think it's ridiculous that Raccoon bans, gimps, mutes or kicks me and Zombie (<3) everytime we come into the server (which it's fair to say is our favorite, both of us have been playing on it for over 8 months.. at least)

The problems I have with you two.

Siv - You don't seem to be able to keep your language clean, you complain constantly, and ignore my warnings.

Power of <3 - Also a pottymouth, a whiner, makes smartass remarks, and seems to think that comparing admins to a nazi is cute.

Both - Always seem to push my buttons when I'm in a bad mood. Not really something they can control other than uh... not pushing my buttons at all.

Talked to both Amy and Raccoon on this and we've decided to restrict Raccoons ability to kick/ban. He did express to me that he takes the 'f' word way to seriously and from what I know of him I understand why. He knows he acted harshly, but to him he felt justified and I understand why.
Per our rules:
I will restrict the his admin abilities he has 'abused' (over reacted and used however you want it phrased) and he is on a probationary period in which any more forms of 'abuse' of his powers will result in his powers being pulled.

Raccoon, I will PM you about this more and let you know a bit more about what this all means for you.

Siv, as I am sorry this happened, although to be perfectly honest, I don't feel all too badly about it. You play here regurlarly and know better than to use foul language. While Raccoon did react harshly he was, to some degree, warranted in using admin powers for what you've said. A kick/ban was too strong (as per our decision to restrict his powers) but you and <3 play here often enough to know to follow the rules. Remember, some admins react to different infractions of the rules differently. Raccoon always over reacts to the 'F' word you used that got you kicked as per his non-cs life. I over react to certain words as well, I'm just better at holding my temper. I read the whole log from that map, and you and <3 were using a lot of foul language, but when it's just the two of you, no harm done. Once someone else joins you need to cool the lanugage down, no matter if it is an admin or not. You and <3 play on our server a lot and I for one would greatly appreciate you two setting an example for other players. While it's not required, I'd <3 you both for it.

That's the best course of action I can see... I have never had a problem with coon's admin, but from what I hear he appears to use it as much as possible.

My two cents as follows:

Siv does have a dirty mouth. But then so do I. I just manage (mostly) to control myself while on the server. Siv need to learn to do the same. He's a good guy, so I hate to see him get kicked for silly (yet legitimate) stuff like this.

Furthermore, Racoon is a great guy. Love playing with him. He does use his admin powers more than any other admin on the server. He doesn't seem to be willing to let anything slide, but I've never seen him abuse his powers outright.

Both good people and good players. This seems like an easy fix, since both of you seem reasonable and friendly.

Since I have no official part of this besides an observer, I'll shut up now.
