Ladies and Gentlemen Start your debate engines. As this one has been beaten to death many times before I thought I would do it differently. ONLY talk about if this is worth debating and not about banning or other non issues as the server has a restriction already in effect. This subject should have died a long time ago but other people cough cough have brought up the possibily of debating it again.
Bah humbug.
Edit because of chauvinistic attitude in the original wording.

I have one thing to say: You cannot say AWPing takes no skill. If I can do it better than most people, there's skill involved.

What SiR said. I still can't figure out how it randomly decides to not shoot where I'm aiming, even when I'm not moving nor is the person I'm shooting at. I think it's more of a luck gun... but then again, which guns aren't?

I think it's more of a luck gun... but then again, which guns aren't? More elements in CSS are random than you'd initially think. The AWP is no different. That being said, it is a frustrating gun. Not so much that its a one shot kill, but that people tend to "resort" to it when they're losing. If no other strategy is effective, they suddenly start saving up for an AWP. There is a problem with that. The winning team sees the losing team all switching to AWPS, and they decide to switch to AWPs themselves. Next thing you know, you have a giant sniper-fest, and those who want to use assault rifles or SMGs are left behind. I've seen this scenario played out a thousand times, and it irritates the hell out of me. Sure it's "possible" to play with the AK when everyone else is using AWPs, but it doesn't make it any less of a pain in the ass. Frankly, I think we have a good system. The AWP is a great equalizer, and limiting it to the winning team makes for a good handicap. The next best thing would be limiting it to one per team. Frankly, I don't care what is done with it. I just DON'T want to see AC games degrade into a AWP sniper-fest as so often happens on other servers. We should do what we can to prevent that. Cheers, -Jayne

I have never had an AWP miss when it's being fired properly... you can even time it right to shoot accurately on a strafe, but that's a different matter. You may not think you're moving, but you still have momentum/one extra step to take. I always make my stops by walking immediately before, or jumping.
