I can write eventscripts. It wouldn't be all that hard to write one for that.
Basically, it would just fire every time a weapon is picked up. If it's not an AWP, it stops there, but then it would check to see what team the person is on and what the winning team is. If the player is on the winning team, it would just force them to drop it. And so on.

Okay, one, Church is fine. Specops knows about the rule. He got it from me LAST WEEKEND.
Yes, he argued with me over it too. That was when i^couple also pointed out to him that it was in the MOTD that the rule was changed, which was when Specops made the "and just who are you?" remark and i^couple said "obviously a person who can read and comprehend a simple motd"
Anyways, Specops deserved it. He's known about the new awp rule for about a week now. If he is still arguing over it with the admin, which he has no reason to do, he deserves a ban.
Just to make it clear, last weekend we did tell him the reasons why it was changed.

I don't know what happened there, but that was not cool. Some guy just joined the server under the name "GOODBYE" (I suspect by the above post it was church), banned specops, and left without saying a word. thetime was 1:42:00AM CMT servertime. About 5 minutes ago. Specops was inquiring about the AWP rule (how we recently changed it). He was getting a little upset/aggressive about it, but no where near out of line. "GOODBYE" just randomly logs in, bans him, and leaves again. That was a cheap ambush, and hardly fair. I sincerely request that the logs get pulled on this one. I think this was way out of line. -Jayne i think the logs should be pulled he was a straight up jerk to me and claimed to be admin |

He shouldn't be claiming he is an admin, and he shouldn't be acting like a jerk. Regardless of whether or not he actually did these things, he has already been punished for them (more harshly then we normally would, I might add) by temp-banning. I initially wanted the logs to find out who the admin was who banned specops, since he did so anonymously (which very much against our policy, and ethics). But Church has come forward and apologized and I, more importantly specops, has forgiven him. The logs seems superfluous now. Cheers, -Jayne |

ok. I have a large problem with MANI right now. The server seems completely crudded up. Logs aren't catching, well mani logs aren't. I can read what gets said but not the admin actions....
and even then its A PITA. Don't ask what PITA is.

There is nothing to link to. As I understood it, the apology I was referring to was made on the server, not the forums. In-game chat is not exactly the clearest form of communication. Was I mistaken? Regardless of whether an apology was made in the formal sense, spec ops appears to have forgiven you for the entire incident. Everyone has moved past it. This thread should be locked.
