I have to say I'm surprised this forum still exists haha not to mention functioning. Anyways just checking in. I want you all to know that I am alive and well. I've been trying for the past year to get back in but my new place is out in the middle of nowhere and the only internet I can get is via sattelite. Only other option is T1. So...lately I've been tethering my iphone and I get 200-300 ping which is still playable so anyone still playing CSS?

Oh yes one more thing...I might actually go for T1 if I can offset the costs enough. So that means I can host a server 24/7 from my house. Thought I'd share that.

man, i havent played CS in a year or so...if anything, ive been playing L4D2, or Bad Company 2, or even Star Trek Online lately. but for me a lot has changed in the past....whats it been? like...5 years or so? so i dont have time to play that much anymore...
im always around, not always on steam, sooo, yea...hi again soy! =D

This is where it gets complicated - because I'm on a client's server and he's running nginx (essentially apache rewritten by some crazy Russian to be lean so I'm told) which I've never used before. So - I don't know exactly if these packages are needed here as a result of the upgrade to 2.4? It seems unlikely as this would be detailed in the upgrade docs. SS 2.3.6 runs beautifully on this server, s I'm all sorts of confused, but leaning toward nginx not being the issue here. ____________________________________________________________ Office Chairs | Chairs |
