Server Donations/ TF2 updates

We have a new set up for donations,

Note: This is for the TF2 server ONLY.


This server will be shared with !F members as well. I hear some of you asking why.... well....

(1) It's costing $52/month. Sometimes we don't get enough donations to cover the cost of the server. Sometimes we don't have anything... I wind up footing the bill in those cases.

(2) I'm not sure if we have enough people interested in the clan that can support the TF2 on its own, and those that are hardcore and can donate- though not enough to cover everything- don't want this to disappear.

(3) It builds to have more people in the forums, in the server, even possibly in the clan and that would be great.

Also- Sir will be doing an up/sideways grade on the TF2 server. The new admin mod will be as easy to use as the old one. This means that tomorrow night (I believe) the server will be down for the evening/long time.



Comments? Opinions? Keep it clean.

Note that the "tracker" is really just a spreadsheet that I manually update, so when you send a donation it won't show up until I go and put it in.

please dont start this...and im not singling anyone out with that statment...

i think with support from 2 clans, the funds should at least for the most part show up, and even so, if it doesnt, oh well, at least it was tried...

its summer, summer = outside and overlooked computers, which is why so few good games are released in the summer...fall should see a return of traffic and fun and such...sooo, yeah...

Sassy: I see your point however we have people lined up for donations and things and I'm *hoping* that we should be set through the next two months if not more. I intend to donate towards it myself. hopefully by that time we're back into schooltime/cooler weather.

If you're interested in donating, send PayPal to [e-mail]. Right now. I've received nothing so far 'cept promises and I won't be able to take on payments until I have an initial balance (of clan-appropriated funds).

I've had one donation thusfar. On the spreadsheet, donations are going to be green rows and server payments will be red.
