Ah yes the idea a metaphorical statement is sometimes taken literally. As I have been punched in the stomach it does make for an exciting time, and it does take your breath away. The idea here is not, oh just take a metaphorical statement for its meaning and not the literal thing.

You need to stop and see a beautiful lady, a painting, flowers, sunset, car, snowmobile etc that takes your breath away. If that does nothing for you go out and get in a bar brawl. Just kidding about the brawl.
