One day a lawyer is on his way out of court and to his car parked on the street. He's got a brand new Farrari. As he is getting into his car, a truck drives too close to the car and slams into the open door, tearing it right off the car! The lawyer jumps out of his car and starts screaming at the man driving the truck, telling him how he has just made the biggest mistake of his life and is about to be sued for every penny he has. The cops arrive several minutes later and the Lawyer is still berrating this man with what he is going to do to him when he takes him to court. The police officers try to get the laywer to stop for just one minute and after nearly 5 more minutes they finally succeed. The lawyer however won't stop telling the cops of what he will do to the man. After about 5 minutes of trying to get a story of what happened out of the lawyer, with no success, the cop finally looks at the lawyer and says, "You lawyers are so materialistic, when are you going to focus on what really matters in life?"
The lawyer starts going on another tyrade on how he's now going to sue the cop for what he said and for not being helpful. After taking this verbal punishment for several minutes the lawyer finally stops talking and poses the question, "And just what makes you think we are so materialistic?!"
The cop simply stares at him for a second, dumbfounded, and finally blurts out to the man, "You're so caught up in material posessions, that you didn't even realize that when that truck took the door off your car, your left arm went with it!"
The lawyer stops for a second, and stares down in horror at the bloody stump that ends just at his shoulder. After several minutes of silence from the lawyer, the lawyer looks at the cop...

Finally he screams out, "I HAD A BRAND NEW ROLEX ON THAT WRIST!!!!"

kind of freaked my out at first Chu. So relived it ended with a funny punch line.
