TF2 would be my bid as well... TFC was my game prior to November 16, 2004 (or, rather, whenever the CS:S beta came out, which I participated in) and I'd love to get into TF2.

If TF2 is a way everyone is going I shall be back. My father has taken my account for now so he can beat HL2 for the 4th time (hardest setting now).

TF2 is my bid as well. We'll have to coordinate on a server and such. Maybe using a pub server until everyone is converted, and then getting our own if it catches on.
I'm sure everyone is getting a little bored with CS:S.
TF2 should come out just in time for me to come back too. Right now I'm working nights, so I've not been around at peak server times. I'll be back to normal in early Sept, and TF2 is due out mid Oct.
Should be awsome.

Bored with CSS? I just learn the maps, a few tricks, and hiding places, how to use the weapons and now everyone is bored. How will I ever, oh hell I am bored also. TF2 NOW!

So... does anybody else have experience in Team Fortress? I played TFC for years before I ever got in to CS. I only really stopped when I started playing the CS:S back when it was in Beta.

I was a dominant spy. Engineer was probably my fav to play for the teamplay factor though. I think TF was much better then CS because the CAP factor played more into the score more so then bomb planting does in CS. It seemed like the playing field was somewhat more even. Long story short I'm looking forward to a change.

Absolutely. TF is without a doubt the best game for teamplay too. In CSS, one good guy can easily pull a rambo and kill everything. In TF, no matter how good you are at your class, the opponent has a class or tactic to counteract it.
Naturally, I am a Sniper, and back when I played, I could peg concing scouts and medics 8 or 9 times out of 10.
