You might see my frequency on the server go down a bit in the next couple weeks. I'll still be around, but not as much.
The reason for this is the release of three games which I anticipate will consume most of my time (and hopefully rekindle my interest in CS:S).
First is S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Shadow of Chernobyl. Think of it like Dues Ex meets Oblivion. A free-form fps, 7 years in the making. Its getting pretty good reviews so far.
Second is Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific. I'm a total sub nut (since the original silent hunter). I loved SH3, despite its bugs, and SH4 improves on it.
Finally, Command and Conquer 3 is coming out. I remember when C&C1 game out, at the same time as warcraft 2. I could only afford to buy one game, and it was killing me. C&C3 looks like mindless more-of-the-same thoughtless action. Should be a good ride.
Oh yeah. Then there is school. But who has time for petty stuff like that.
Cheers, -Jayne

STALKER ftw!
I'm actually going up to the store to pay it off right now. That way I can get off school tomorrow, go pick it up, and WABAM! Sleek, sexy ownage right here, right now! Or right tomorrow, that is.

I am a huge fan of the Command And Conquer series (I hope EA does well with it; Generals/Zero Hour were only ok).
Well, if I don't see you around... have fun with those.

You know there is a demo out, right?
Its ok. Nothing terribly original, but typical C&C.

Nose if a diehard The Elder Scrolls fan saw you call the TES series the "morrowind series" they would probably kill you.
Morrowind is the third of TES, oblivion is fourth, TES:III and TES:IV they may be called =P.

Oblivion was an awesome game if you liked to go to the top of a mountain and throw down an apple and try to chase it down and actually find it.
The problem with morrowind was how broken the alchemy system was. +100000000 strength for 1000 hours potion anyone?
I hit so damn hard my weapon and the enemy's armor both lost all condition in one hit.

Oblivion's expansion comes out really soon, I have it preordered, hopefully they'll increase Oblivion to have a bit more credibility. I mostly like Oblivion cause I enjoy exploration, and I'm always finding some new dungeon or place I haven't been before on Oblivion. Then again, I never played Morrowind.

If you like exploring buy a copy of morrowind because there is a lot more exploring in morrowind and its like five bucks =P.

If you like exploring buy a copy of morrowind because there is a lot more exploring in morrowind and its like five bucks =P. The only thing I didn't like about morrowind was the lack of conversation options. While these were fixed in the expansion, all of the NPCs in the original game were dry, boring, and felt like primitive database interfaces. Also the music was great, but there were only 5 tracks for the whole damn game. If you're going to play morrowind, look for the top plugins. Rheds Heads and Bodies substantially improves the graphics of NPCs, for instance. Cheers, -Jayne
