well it's my own canadienized recipe of a slap together styr fry!
get this, someone who hates styr fry, loved it, and wanted me to make it again the next day!
it's not hard and just mess aroudn with it to suit your own tastes cause it's quick, easy, filling and good!
PREP
get steak!
cut steak up into pieces/strips (to thick of a steak isn't always the best for styr fry's)
put spice's on steak before cooking
Spices i use: Salt, peper, garlic salt, and onion salt (simple)
Cut up onions, green pepers, red perpers, and any other vegetable you desire (sometimes if need more filler i use mixed vegetables that were frozen, i just defrost running them under hot water for a few seconds, leaves them crisp!)
COOKING
Cook up a package or desired ammount of chinese rice by uncle ben's brand!
then when rice is almost done~
heat butter and olive oil in a styr fry pan ( or regular pan if you aitn got one...go get one!)
cook steak till nice and browns all over (cut a piece to see how well cooked it is depending on thickness and preference to rare to well done)
while cooking add Soy sauce and TBQ's Hot sauce (if you aitn got that, use a hot sauce or steak sauce of your preference, be warned that i dont know what that's like)
Then add the Rice, and vegetables!...STYR!!!!!!!!!!!
then add just a tiny bit more TBQ sauce adn soy sauce if it needs to be moistened....keep styring!!!! (i know it's stir! ssssshh! dont interupt!)
add litle more salt and peper, styr and styr till it's good and hot then serVE!!!
i started this from some hot dogs, frozen hash browns, and mixed vegetables...and came to learn how to cook a real good stir fry!...trick is experiment! when no one else has to eat it tho!
