Ok their is something wrong with my game, I can't move forward or backwards, I tried last night and I wasn't even moving side to side, but today I can't even move forward can someone tell me whats wrong with my keys and tell me what are the bind keys for them cause I tried "bind W M_forward", "bind w forward" and thats about all I can think off, can someone help me out with this little glicth i'm having

you have to use +forward i think for those crazy action keys that can be held down.... the + means that while the button is held down, it's constantly sending that command. same goes for left, right, backward, jump, primary fire, and secondary fire.


or you can go into the keyboard setup in options and click the walk forward command and hit the w key.... either way, after you fix your problem, you can always backup your config.cfg file!!

same problem, but when i set the keys for sise to side for w and s it works and when i set my forward and backwards keys for a and d they don't work, something must be freaked up with my files.

How can i edit my config.cfg file, or what else should i do

... well, here's my config file. you can edit the file by going to <driveletter>:\...\SteamApps\<username>\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg and opening the config.cfg file with notepad.exe.

all of what your saying is what I did and none of them are working, as Chubaka indicated eariler today it's the +forward and the +backward commands that are broken in the source files not the config.cfg files

well, then i say have steam delete local content for css (backup your config) and then redownload it. it sounds like a corrupt css file. =/

problem fixed thanks to either deletion of the config.cfg file or the new update either one fixxed my problem but now I can't use "ctrl+w+s" lol but hey i can live with out walking slowly to the side other than that i'm all good.
