I trust my flash drive. I know how to operate it. Flash drives are no better or worse than any other means of backup, just store it well (ziploc, if you live where it's humid) and youll be fine. I keep mine in a box originally designed to store inkjet cartriges. It keeps my drive nice and dust free. I've had it threee years, used it four times.
