Yeah... but you're gonna buy a nice computer ANYWAY (or at least you should =P). Plus, who actually likes to play an FPS with a controller? Hands? Anyone? <cricket noises> I thought as much. Mouse and keyboard FTW.
Maybe your girls in Independence, MO are different from the girls over in Overland Park, KS cuz... almost none of the girls I know will touch a PS2 or PS3 or ... any gaming console other than the Wii =P. So, maybe I'm just talking about non-gamer chicks? *shrug* who knows... freaky things (the chicks, not the consoles).
