i would recommend using the keypad, lots of keys that you dont use otherwise, i have mine set up for enter - autobuy (i aslo recommend editing auto buy to make it useful for you...) 0 - kev an helm, flash, he, defuser (press it again if i want that second fb) 1 - deagle 2 - tmp/mac 3 - mp5 4 - famas/defender 5 - scout 6 - m4/ak 7 - shotgun 8 - bullpup/krieg - - sec ammo + - prim ammo
all the keys are right there next to eachother, i can buy any combination + ammo in a split sec (eg. 015-+ gets me armor, flash, he, deagle, scout, and ammo for both in about the time it takes for the buy menu to open)
heres the codes for the keypad: KP_INS (the 0 key) KP_DEL (the decimal point) KP_ENTER (the Enter key) KP_PLUS (the Plus key) KP_END (the 1 key) KP_DOWNARROW (the 2 key) KP_PGDN (the 3 key) KP_LEFTARROW (the 4 key) KP_5 (the 5 key) KP_RIGHTARROW (the 6 key) KP_HOME (the 7 key) KP_UPARROW (the 8 key) KP_PGUP (the 9 key) KP_SLASH (the / key on the numpad) * (the * key on the numpad) KP_MINUS (the - key on the numpad)

I use a package script called nextwish. its uber... I tried finding the link for it so I could post it here, but the main vein to grab it is giving a 404 error.
It looks like a package script called RzE's CS Helper and another one called deviantone might do the same thing. The best part about nextwish though is, that you bind your weapons like you assign your other clicks, just double click and then hit the key you want it to be. All the 1337 none of the scripting...

watch what keys you bind because ive accidentally bound some keys that you need for other stuff the you have to go back and reset your keyboard config.

Thanks- between all of the replys there is enough information to do all of the scripting needed to do a very complex set of buy operations. Now I just need a shift key to keep the CT/T buy scripts differentiated.

*sigh* What ever happened to buying a game and playing it as is without 'moding' it so everything runs as it's suppose to, and not on a different set of rules.
Scripting/bindings should be a form of hacking. Use the OOB setup/rules...

the only binding I have outside fresh install setup is the Admin Menu. Other than that, install a copy of CSS, put me at the PC, and I'll play like I do now.

i believe modding a game violates the end user licence aggrement you made when you installed the game.
At least that what Rockstar said to get out of the 'Hot Coffee' incident without a fine

"modding" a game is a lot different than changing key bindings.... just thought i'd throw that out there. if they didn't want people to be able to change variables in css, then they wouldn't allow those commands to be used in the console. even the way the game is coded, they allow people to install custom skins and sounds.

as chim said, Binding Keys is COMPLETLY different from Modding and hacking...
everyone who is an admin....when you got admin....didnt you go into the console and type "bind (insert key) admin" ?
cause if you did, then YOUR A HACKER!!! accordin to chu...>.>
=P
anywho, i have a key binded to admin, and i have custom weapon skins and sounds...but thats all things that your allowed to do...as long as i dont change the world models at all, it cannot in any way effect how i play of give me any advantage...
and as a side note, world weapon modles cant be changed now from what i learned (the ones you see on another player, not the one in your hand in first person) because when you try to join a server, it kicks you and says the world model for whatever weapon is different and has to be changed back...=D
