hey it's fox, i haven't been on the server for a long time, basically because i am banned some how.... anyways, maybe if eno/amy/lepper could re-look and see if i'm banned, check ip, and check steam id check my name (fox) check account name (freed0m5) if the is even possible, i don't maybe i'll play again, i'd like to see all the new stuff

Foxy you're not in the ban logs on the server even... granted I have to look at and see if rcon is capable of banning people and if those are different logs, them I'm SOL... cause I haven't looked there yet

hey everyone, i may end up buying another CS:S at circuit city or something it's only 20 bucks, unless someone knows a guy who knows a guy with an extra account. then tell me. So maybe i'll see you sooon.

yeah i can join other servers, just not AC, so i'd be glad to trade with someone who doesn't play on this server, it'd be no problem for that.

I wonder just how steam bans an account? Does it do the ban by IP on a particular server? If the ban is not on our server then STEAM may be the thing causing your problem. Yes it sounds wierd but that is the way steam does things. Wierdly.

I've never known steam to ban someone from one server. Generally they ban you from a lot if any at all.... You may want to check to see if Fox is on the 'cannot be banned' list. I know of people who have had problems with something like this. Just open up all of your lists, good/bad, and remove fox from all of them, then have him try to connect. If he can, then start adding him back into the lists and see if one messes him up. I suggest opening each list, good/bad, and doing a 'find' and serch for IP, Steam_ID, name, account, and maybe even mac address? I know that one sounds odd, but I've seen it before on 1.5 and 1.6...

Thanks B8... I think...  I could fill in that blank with soooo many bad things, but also with so many good ones! lol. I've been playing CS for a long time, started when 1.5 was brand new... I've seen a lot of weird errors, and even helped out with a CS server at ISU, the university I attended. So, I know Valve can do some weird/stupid things... but... I'm at work, with my boss here... I probably shouldn't be on AC's forums posting ~Chu Okay, boss is gone... so, time to edit/modify my post! heh. I do work for a local ISP here in Waterloo, IA, so I know quite a bit about a lot of things... I'll try to give suggestions or help whenever I can with technical stuff.
