I speak latin. Very little latin. And all the definition ive found define computer as an Electronic Device or a device Computing Digital Information.

The definition of computer is only listed in the modern form now. Find an OLD dictionary from before WW2 date and look it up. You will find that a computer is defined as a person who calculates things. That definition has been dropped due to the invention of the mechanical calculator. Oh wait that makes it prior to WW!. Maybe even before WW!. So go get a pre Civil War dictionary and you will find it there. Pulls old Revolutionary War era dictionary off of the shelf and it crumbles in hands. Well at least I still have my medical books from the civil war times. Handy in case I have to do an amputation without anesthetic. Any volunteers?
The date in my Doctors manual is 1856 if you are interested.
Kindly note that there is a major inconsistancy in the above post. Who will catch it?
